Ahcan inked a two-year, two-way contract with Colorado on Saturday, per Ryan Boulding of NHL.com.
Ahcan contributed five goals and 36 points in 68 AHL outings with Providence in 2022-23. The 26-year-old defenseman also has one point (a goal) in nine career NHL games.
