Klapka was recalled by the Flames on Monday. Klapka has played well in the minors this season, racking up 21 goals, 45 points and 88 PIM through 64 contests. Flames' Adam Klapka: Returns to minors
Klapka was reassigned to AHL Calgary following Saturday's 1-0 win over the Blackhawks. Klapka got into four games with the Flames during his stay in the NHL. He had eight hits, one blocked shot, two PIM and a minus-1 rating in a fourth-line role. One of Klapka or Cole Schwindt will likely stay in the AHL after the Flames return from the All-Star break.... Flames GM Craig Conroy, via statement: “Brad is a great addition to our coaching staff, adding valuable recent experience as an NHL head coach as well as a longtime player.”
