Davis (groin) is not among the Bengals' inactives for Sunday's contest versus Cleveland. Davis entered the weekend deemed questionable due to a groin issue, but he'll be able to suit up for Cincinnati's season finale. Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder) is inactive for the contest, so Davis could see more than his usual allotment of work in the secondary. Davis typically plays primarily on special teams -- he hasn't logged more than six defensive snaps in any contest this season.... See More ... See Less

Bengals' Jalen Davis: Gets questionable tag
Davis (groin) is listed as questionable ahead of the Bengals' Week 18 matchup with the Browns. Davis squeezed a full practice session between two limited workloads at practice this week before ultimately being listed as questionable. He is attempting to return from a one-game absence. With Chidobe Awuzie (shoulder) also getting a questionable tag, Davis could see some extra reps in the secondary if he ultimately gets cleared.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Not playing Sunday
Davis (groin) is inactive Sunday against the Chiefs. Davis' absence will weaken the team's depth in the secondary, but more so on special teams, where the Utah State product spends the vast majority of his snaps.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Signs new deal
Davis re-signed with the Bengals on a two-year deal Thursday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports. Davis will remain in Cincinnati after spending the previous three seasons with the team. In 2022, he suited up 13 times, primarily contributing on special teams. The 27-year-old finished the year with two assisted tackles and a fumble recovery. Looking ahead to the coming season, the 27-year-old will reprise his role as a depth option in the Bengals' secondary.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Back in full Thursday
Davis (thumb) practiced fully Thursday, Andrew Gillis of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. Davis is now in line to end his two-game absence due to a thumb injury following his ability to partake in Thursday's session without limitations. With that being said, the 26-year-old will likely operate in a strict special-teams role Monday night against the Bills.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Sitting out again Week 16
Davis (thumb) has been deemed inactive versus the Patriots on Saturday. Davis missed his first game of the season Week 15 versus Tampa Bay due to a thumb injury, which kept him limited in each practice leading up to Saturday's tilt. His absence shouldn't substantially affect the Bengals' pass defense since starting cornerbacks Eli Apple, Cam Taylor-Britt and Mike Hilton are all available to play.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Full practice Tuesday
Davis was a full participant at Tuesday's practice, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports. The cornerback missed the last three weeks, including the Bengals' wild-card victory over the Raiders on Saturday, while nursing an ankle injury, but it appears he will be ready to go for Saturday's playoff matchup with the Titans. Even when healthy, Davis hasn't played a defensive snap since Week 13, so his return doesn't change things very much in the Bengals' secondary.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Unavailable against Las Vegas
Davis (ankle) is inactive for Saturday's wild-card matchup against the Raiders, Marisa Contipelli of the Bengals' official site reports. Davis will be forced to miss a third consecutive game due to an ankle injury that made him a limited participant in practice all week. He's served mainly on special teams during the 2021 campaign.... Bengals' Jalen Davis: Out Sunday
Davis (ankle) is out Sunday against the Browns, Geoff Hobson of the Bengals' official site reports. Davis also missed Week 17 against the Chiefs with the injury. Mostly a contributor on special teams, his absence shouldn't impact the Bengals' defense too much Sunday against the Browns.... See More ... See Less -
Bengals' Jalen Davis: Officially questionable for Week 7
Davis (anke) is listed as questionable for Sunday's matchup with the Ravens. Davis didn't practice Wednesday or Thursday, but he returned in a limited capacity Friday, which may give him an opportunity to suit up in Week 7. The 25-year-old cornerback has played mostly special teams this season, so if he is unavailable Sunday, it shouldn't affect the Bengals' defensive rotations.... See More ... See Less -
Jalen Davis: Let go by Arizona
Davis was cut by the Cardinals on Monday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports. The 24-year-old earned promotion from the team's practice squad last season, suiting up for 20 special-teams snaps in two games during the 2019 campaign. Davis will now look elsewhere around the league to find a depth role with the 2020 season fast approaching.... See More ... See Less -
Cardinals' Jalen Davis: Added to active roster
Davis was promoted to the Cardinals' 53-man roster Saturday. Davis joined Arizona's practice squad at the start of the season after being waived by Miami. The 23-year-old provides some depth in the secondary with Bryon Murphy (calf) and Kevin Peterson (shoulder) questionable for Sunday's game versus Pittsburgh.... See More ... See Less
