Batum provided four points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), six rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal in 29 minutes during Thursday's 125-114 victory over the Knicks in Game 3 of the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs. Batum continues to do very little on offense despite playing meaningful minutes, highlighting the 76ers' lack of depth. Although he did manage three combined steals and blocks, the team would likely love for him to have scored more than four points. Given the 76ers have very few options when it comes to somewhat reliable producers, Batum should continue to play a significant role moving forward.... See More ... See Less

76ers' Nicolas Batum: Shines off bench Wednesday
Batum provided 20 points (7-12 FG, 6-10 3Pt), five rebounds and one block in 28 minutes during Wednesday's 105-104 Play-In Game victory over the Heat. It was widely known that Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey were going to carry the 76ers in this matchup against the Heat, but Philadelphia likely wouldn't have gotten the win without Batum's impressive effort off the bench. The 20-point output was a season-high mark for the veteran, and even though his role is not going to change drastically in the first-round matchup against New York, he should continue to see decent minutes on a regular basis. He went scoreless in four appearances against the Knicks during the regular season.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Back to bench
Batum isn't starting Friday's game against the Magic, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Batum will retreat to a bench role as Philly's starting five has returned to full strength. He's averaging 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists in his last four appearances as a reserve.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Late addition to first unit
Batum is now listed as the 76ers' starting small forward for Sunday's game against the Spurs, Paul Garcia of ProjectSpurs.com reports. Batum was initially set to come off the bench for the shorthanded 76ers but has replaced Buddy Hield in the starting five. Batum has started each of Philadelphia's last two games, averaging 4.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists over 26.5 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Will come off bench Sunday
Batum isn't starting Sunday's game against the Spurs. The 76ers will tweak their lineup for this matchup against San Antonio, and aside from being without Joel Embiid (knee) and Kyle Lowry (rest), Batum will also come off the bench. This means Paul Reed and Kelly Oubre will play in the frontcourt. Buddy Hield, Cameron Payne and Tyrese Maxey round out the rest of the lineup.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Good to go Saturday
Batum (foot) will play Saturday against the Grizzlies, Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Batum could see extra minutes Saturday, as Tobias Harris is out with a knee contusion. Batum is averaging 5.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists over his last nine appearances.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Added to injury report
Batum is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Grizzlies due to left foot soreness. Batum is in danger of missing Saturday's contest after being a late addition to the injury report with a foot injury. With Tobias Harris (knee) also questionable, Buddy Hield and KJ Martin could see increased playing time against Memphis.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Returns to starting unit
Batum is in the starting lineup to face the Heat on Thursday, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Batum will move to the starting unit due to the absence of Tobias Harris (knee). Batum is averaging 5.6 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists across 26.1 minutes per game across his 34 starts this season.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Not starting Wednesday
Batum will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Clippers. Kelly Oubre (shoulder) is back and starting, so Batum will shift to a reserve role. As a member of the second unit this season, Batum owns averages of 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.8 assists and not much else on 35.5 percent shooting.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Running with first unit
Batum is starting Monday night against the Kings. Kelly Oubre (shoulder) was announced as out shortly before tipoff, and it'll be Batum who takes his place in the starting five. He's started three of his team's last four contests but hasn't cracked double figures in scoring since March 6 against the Grizzlies.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Back to bench
Batum will return to a reserve role for Friday's game versus the Lakers, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Batum will return to the bench, as Tobias Harris (ankle) is back in the starting lineup. The veteran Batum has averaged 4.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.8 assists across 21.8 minutes in 15 games as a reserve this season.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Busy on defense in Saturday's start
Batum accumulated eight points (3-7 FG, 2-6 3Pt), eight rebounds, four assists, two blocks and three steals over 37 minutes during Saturday's 109-98 win over Charlotte. It was a vintage performance from Batum, who at his peak a decade ago was a consistent multi-category contributor without being a primary offensive threat. The 35-year-old forward was getting the start with Tobias Harris (ankle) sidelined, but Harris' injury isn't thought to be serious. Batum has played at least 20 minutes in his last nine games, but he's averaged just 4.8 points, 5.3 boards, 2.3 assists, 1.2 steals, 0.9 threes and 0.8 blocks over that stretch while shooting a poor 30.6 percent from the floor and 23.5 percent from beyond the arc.... 76ers' Nicolas Batum: Set to start Saturday
Batum is in the starting lineup for Saturday's game versus the Hornets, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Batum will replace Tobias Harris (ankle) in the starting five Saturday. Batum is averaging 3.8 points, 3.6 rebounds and 1.0 assists in 23.0 minutes across his last five starting appearances.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Available for Sunday
Batum (foot) is good to go for Sunday's matchup with the Knicks. Batum is coming off a one-game absence and figures to see his usual workload assuming he avoids any setbacks. The veteran forward has averaged 6.0 points, 5.3 rebounds, 1.8 assists, 1.0 steals and 0.8 blocks across 26.3 minutes over his previous six games.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Ruled out Friday
Batum (foot) won't play in Friday's game versus the Pelicans, Adam Aaronson of PhillyVoice.com reports. Batum has been downgraded from questionable to available due to left foot soreness. In his absence, KJ Martin and Kelly Oubre will likely receive increased playing time. Batum's next chance to suit up is Sunday's matchup with the Knicks.... See More ... See Less -

Batum is now listed as questionable for Friday's game versus the Pelicans due to left foot soreness. After starting in Philadelphia's previous outing, Batum is now in danger of missing Friday's contest. Batum finished with seven points (2-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, one block and three steals in 31 minutes during Sunday's 120-116 win over Dallas. Batum wasn't efficient offensively, but his defensive contributions and rebounding were critical. The 35-year-old entered the victory having knocked down 44.1 percent of 2.8 threes per game, but Sunday represented Batum's season-high in shot attempts -- symbolizing his low-usage role.... 76ers' Nicolas Batum: Coming off bench
Batum (hamstring) will come off the bench for Tuesday's game against Boston, Sean Grande of NBC Sports Boston reports. Kelly Oubre will move into the first unit for the 76ers. This move makes a lot of sense, as the 76ers are expecting to limit Batum to 15-25 minutes because he's coming off an injury.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Operating on restriction
Batum (hamstring) will log 15-25 minutes of action Tuesday against Boston, Noah Levick of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports. Batum's workload has been strictly monitored of late, sitting the second half of a back-to-back Friday while logging a combined 35 minutes across two appearances after the All-Star break. He continues to handle a starting role, however, running with the first unit in 15 consecutive appearances.... See More ... See Less -
76ers' Nicolas Batum: Will start Sunday
Batum will start Sunday's game against the Bucks. Batum returned to action Thursday versus the Knicks after missing nine straight games heading into the All-Star break due to a hamstring injury. He started that contest but played just 18 minutes and was held scoreless. He was deemed available for the second half of Philadelphia's back-to-back set Friday versus Cleveland, but he didn't start and wasn't used off the bench.
