Hoskins went 1-for-2 with a solo home run, a walk and a stolen base in Monday's 3-1 loss to Philadelphia.
Hoskins' seventh-inning blast off Zack Wheeler was the Brewers' only run of the night. The 31-year-old still managed to be productive, however, notching his second stolen base of the season in a strong all-around performance. Since being activated off the 15-day injured list May 31, Hoskins has started three of four games for the Brewers, batting 4-for-10 with one home run and one steal.
Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the White Sox.
Hoskins will get a break from the starting lineup after going 3-for-9 in the first two games of the series following his return from the injured list. Jake Bauers will get the start at first base and bat sixth.

Hoskins will clear a significant hurdle in his recovery from a right hamstring strain, as Monday's activity will mark his first time hitting on the field since he landed on the injured list. While there is still no set timetable for his return to action, it sounds like Hoskins isn't too far off from a rehab assignment. "I feel as good as I can," Hoskins said.
The Brewers placed Hoskins on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a right hamstring strain.
Hoskins tweaked his hamstring while running to first base during Monday's game against Pittsburgh and had to come out of the game.
