Andujar went 3-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's 6-3 loss to the Astros.
Andujar had RBI singles in the first and seventh innings in his season debut. The outfielder missed nearly two months with a torn meniscus in his right knee and hit .389 (7-for-18) during a five-game rehab stint at Triple-A Las Vegas. Andujar will join a suddenly crowded Oakland outfield, with his best chance for playing time coming in left field in competition with fellow right-handed hitters Brent Rooker and Daz Cameron.

Athletics' Miguel Andujar: Reinstated from IL
The Athletics reinstated Andujar (knee) from the injured list Friday.
Andujar has been on the injured list all season after undergoing surgery to repair a torn meniscus in his right knee shortly before Opening Day. It had been previously reported that he was in line to make several more rehab starts at Triple-A Las Vegas, but the A's believe the 29-year-old is healthy enough to return from his assignment early. In five games with Las Vegas, Andujar went 7-for-18 with six RBI and scored three runs. Brett Harris was optioned to Triple-A in a corresponding move.

Andujar (knee) is slated to remain at Triple-A Las Vegas for several more rehab games, per the Associated Press, and he went 0-for-4 with a walk in the Aviators' loss to Tacoma on Wednesday.
Andujar put in a full game's worth of plate appearances at designated hitter, and he's apparently set to spend at least a few more days with Las Vegas before activation is considered. The veteran has played four games with the Aviators so far, hitting .357 (5-for-14) with three doubles, five RBI, Wednesday's walk and a run. However, he's only played defense in one of those contests, logging six innings in left field against El Paso on Saturday.
