Gamecocks hope to reverse run game woes vs. Mizzou

South Carolina head coach Shane Beamer points out that the Gamecocks have not matched Missouri physically during their five-game losing streak in the annual battle for the Mayors Cup. A big part of that is the run game where the Tigers have on average out-rushed South Carolina 182.6 yards per game to 57.6, including 220-69 during last year's 34-12 win in Columbia, Mo. The No. 21 Gamecocks have rushed for 500 yards the last two weeks in wins against Texas A&M and Vanderbilt with running back Rocket Sanders leading the way with 144 against the Aggies and 126 against the Dores.
