With the transfer window open and buzzing, we take a look at some of the transfer rumors and news around the world of soccer, from Major League Soccer to Europe.
Real reaches out to Mbappe
Real Madrid is tempted to sign Monaco young superstar Kylian Mbappe, and Marca reports that club president Florentino Perez has been in touch with the player over a move. With Alvaro Morata likely on the way out, Los Blancos want the 18 year old to join, though his price would be north of $100 million.
The France international played his first full season with the club last season and scored 26 goals in 44 matches, including six in the Champions League.
As of yet, there appears to be no official bid for the player.
Gignac to MLS?
According to Metro, the Los Angeles Galaxy are interested in signing Tigres star Andre-Pierre Gignac. The former Marseille star pulled off a shock move to Mexico a two years ago and has dominated, scoring 59 goals in 98 matches and winning three trophies.
The report says the Galaxy have offered $6 million, which isn't even half of what it would likely cost to secure his services. His value is probably more in the $15-$20 million dollar range, which is likely too much for the Galaxy to afford.
PSG wants Dembele
PSG is looking to beat Barcelona to the signature of Ousmane Dembele, and according to L'Equipe, the Parisians have made contact with the player over a move.
The 20-year-old Dortmund starlet has torn up the Bundesliga and could be set for a big summer move, likely costing north of $50 million.
Liverpool target to cost more than $80 million
If Liverpool wants Naby Keita of Red Bull Leipzig, they must pay up. According to Bild, the Guinea star will cost north of $80 million. That's likely going to price out the Reds, considering they had to spend over $40 million for Mohamed Salah.
