United, Chelsea get the job done
Manchester United needed to avoid defeat at Leicester to guarantee UCL qualification, and the Red Devils did just that in a 2-0 win with Bruno Fernandes scoring the winner on a penalty kick. It was United's 14th penalty kick of the season in the Premier League, which is a new record. It was deserved though after Anthony Martial was sandwiched in the box, but United was outshot 13-6 on the day and wasn't overly convincing in attack.

For Chelsea, Mason Mount and Olivier Giroud fired the Blues into the Champions League in a 2-0 win over Wolves with Nuno Espirito Santo's team only recording two shots on goal and losing the battle for possession. That result means Wolves misses out on Europa League qualification as a result.

The Blues actually saw the world's most expensive goalkeeper, Kera Arrizabalaga, benched in favor of Willy Caballero for this one, with the veteran Argentine getting the clean sheet.
Grealish saves Villa; Bournemouth and Watford drop
Hometown hero Jack Grealish has entered legendary status at the club for saving Villa when it needed him most. Villa's 1-1 draw at West Ham was enough to stay up, though just one more goal for Watford in the 3-2 loss to Arsenal would have sent Villa down. Grealish scored in the 84th minute with a strike inside the box that Lukasz Fabianski probably should have saved.

West Ham scored right away to make things even more crazy, and Villa wasn't able to celebrate until after the final whistle when the club found out Watford had failed to win.

Bournemouth and Watford will now play in the Championship (second division) next season after failing to secure safety.
David Silva gets send off
Manchester City legend David Silva got his sendoff in his final match for the club after a decade of brilliance. Silva was one of the best, most consistent Premier League players of all time and set numerous records for the club in the decade he played including most appearances with 309 and winning four league crowns.

Tottenham and Leicester qualify for Europa
Tottenham qualified for the Europa League by jumping Wolves, while Leicester fell into a Europa League spot after a disappointing end to the season. For Spurs, it's not all that bad considering they had to bring Jose Mourinho in and had some up and down results. For the Foxes, winning just two of their last 10 league games is what saw them collapse from potentially finishing in second to ending up in fifth.
