Storylines
Panama: After some unexpected results elsewhere, notable with the USMNT and Canada, Panama are second in the table and could overtake Mexico with a win. In any case, even a draw would be positive at it would maintain their unbeaten run and keep them in contention for one of the three automatic berths.
Mexico: Two wins from as many games and despite the difficult manner of the results, they are currently the only team to have won more than once. With the USMNT and Canada stalling early on, three more points here would really bring the Mexicans' qualification aim closer to reality.
Prediction
Another narrow victory for Mexico which could turn into a draw if they are not careful. Panama are yet to concede so breaching that back line will be a challenge in itself. Pick: Panama 0-1 Mexico.
