Highest-paid celebs: Ronaldo earns more than Messi, but just as much as Dr. Phil

The soccer superstars are high on the list with their salaries and endorsements

Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona's Lionel Messi are both two of the highest paid celebrities in the world, according to Forbes.

Releasing a list of the top 100 paid global celebrities, Ronaldo was No. 4 at $88 million earned last year, while Messi was No. 8 at $81.5 million. The amounts were earned between June 2015 and June 2016.

Dr. Phil McGraw is tied with Ronaldo.

It's no surprise to see these two high on the list, as they are the top two soccer players in the world and arguably the top two most popular athletes in any sport.

Singer Taylor Swift was No. 1 overall with $170 million. NBA superstar LeBron James was No. 11 with $77 million.
