Storylines

Juventus: Juve is the heavy favorite in this one and should have more than enough to create chances, but the focal point has to be on the defensive end and in numbers. Napoli's attack is a rare one that features two clinical, short speedsters in Lorenzo Insigne and Dries Mertens. They combine well together, as we saw in the tie-clinching goal against Inter. Expect Juve to be physical and aggressive early to set the tone.

Napoli: Napoli showed it can handle adversity in this cup after going down just minutes into the second leg, and that organization we saw is a credit to coach Gennaro Gattuso. In this one, the team will have to handle more. Goalkeeper David Ospina is suspended due to yellow card accumulation, and it's a real shame because he was absolutely fantastic in the second leg except for an early blunder. Alex Meret, 23, is expected to start. And don't overlook the emotional aspect of this game for Napoli in facing former manager Maurizio Sarri. It's also a big day for Mertens after he signed a contract extension until 2022.

Juventus vs. Napoli prediction

Juve's attacking firepower is too much in the end.

Pick: Juventus 3, Napoli 1
