Costa Rica (0-3-1) will look to continue its dominance over El Salvador (1-2-1) when the teams meet Sunday in 2022 Concacaf World Cup Qualifying. The Costa Ricans have a 38-13-14 all-time record versus their Central American counterparts and El Salvador hasn't secured a victory in the last eight head-to-head matchups. Both teams are in the bottom half of the eight-team Concacaf standings and are in desperate need of three points. Stream the action on Paramount+.
Kickoff is set for 6:05 p.m. ET at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. The home side is the -154 favorite (risk $154 to win $100) on the 90-minute money line in the latest Costa Rica vs. El Salvador odds from Caesars Sportsbook. El Salvador is the +500 underdog and draw is fetching +210, while the over-under for total goals is 1.5. Sunday's match will be streamed live on Paramount+ with their must-have Premium plan.

For El Salvador vs. Costa Rica, Gonzalez is backing Costa Rica to win to nil (+140). After qualifying for four of the last five FIFA World Cups, Costa Rica finds its back against the wall after collecting just three points in its first four games.
However, it's still only three points from a qualifying spot and two points from the play-off spot. Costa Rica's defense has laid a foundation it can build from, giving up two goals in four games and Keylor Navas is still world class in net.
"It's been a slow start for Costa Rica in qualifying, but I'm expecting that to change here against an El Salvador team that has very little in attack," Gonzalez told SportsLine. "With Navas in goal, I think Costa Rica win and don't concede."
It's been a difficult start to the final round of 2022 Concacaf World Cup qualifying for Costa Rica, which has qualified for four of the last five FIFA World Cups and even made a quarterfinal appearance in 2014.
Keylor Navas was a big part of that magical run in 2014, and at 34 years old he's still one of the best keepers in the world playing for Paris Saint-Germain. Even as he battles with Gianluigi Donnarumma for time in net at the super club, he managed to keep a clean sheet in his final league match on Sept. 25 and was in net for Costa Rica's clean sheet on Thursday against Honduras.
Navas has only conceded twice in four group stage matches so far this year and it's hard to see an El Salvadoran side that lacks attacking prowess getting the best of the legendary goalie. El Salvador has just one goal in its last six international matches (four qualifiers and two friendlies).
