AC Milan host Venezia on Wednesday on Paramount+ knowing that a win will take them level on points with bitter rivals Inter Milan at the top of Serie A after the Nerazzurri's win away at Fiorentina on Tuesday. The Rossoneri are unbeaten so far with three wins from four and just two goals conceded have the best defensive record in the league along with Napoli. Stefano Pioli's men left it late to tie with Juventus last time out while Venezia have won just once all season and are perched above the relegation zone.

Here is how you can watch the match and what to know:

Storylines

Milan: Mike Maignan suffering racial abuse soured what was otherwise a valuable point in Turin and these next two games against Venezia and then Spezia, on paper, should bring in six more points. With a sluggish Atalanta to come just before the next international break, maximum points could see Milan top the table over that fortnight without domestic action.

Venezia:

So far, Napoli, Udinese and Spezia have taught Venezia some important lessons about survival in Serie A. The victory over Empoli was merited but Paolo Zanetti's men will need to do better to take anything from Milan, Torino, or Cagliari with that last clash particularly key as the Sardinians are currently lower in the table.

Prediction

Milan pair Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud will be keen to add to their two goals apiece so far this season while Venezia's Thomas Henry and David Okereke look relatively lightweight in comparison. Expect the hosts to live up to their favorites tag with a straightforward victory. Pick: Milan 2-0 Venezia.
