Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Still day-to-day
According to Dan Rosen of NHL.com, Miller (upper body) is day-to-day ahead of the Rangers' back-to-back against Carolina and New Jersey on Sunday and Monday, respectively.
Miller won't play against the Hurricanes on Sunday and remains on injured reserve. With a four-day holiday break coming after Monday's matchup versus the Devils, he may miss that game too to give him some additional time to recover. Miller has two goals, four assists, 42 shots on net, 40 blocked shots and 55 hits across 28 appearances this season.

Miller (upper body) did not travel with the Rangers and will miss Friday's tilt in Dallas, according to Mollie Walker of the New York Post.
Miller was placed on injured reserve last week and was eligible to return in time for the game against the Stars, but he will remain on the sidelines. The Rangers put Miller (upper body) on injured reserve Friday, per Dan Rosen of NHL.com.
Miller left Wednesday's tilt versus the Sabres at the end of the second period and did not return. The Rangers will likely use Connor Mackey as their sixth defenseman in Miller's absence. Miller has two goals, four assists, 55 hits and 40 blocked shots in 28 appearances this season.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Won't travel for start of road trip
Miller (upper body) won't travel with the Rangers for the start of their upcoming road trip, which begins Sunday in St. Louis, Vince Z. Mercogliano of USA Today reports.
Miller exited Wednesday's game against the Sabres due to an upper-body injury, and he'll be forced to miss some time due to the issue. The Rangers also face the Kings at home Saturday, so it seems as though Miller will also be sidelined for that matchup. Connor Mackey is in line to serve as the team's sixth defenseman in Miller's absence.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Departs Wednesday's game
Miller (upper body) won't return to Wednesday's game versus the Sabres, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.
It's unclear what caused Miller's exit from the contest. The 24-year-old defenseman should be considered day-to-day until more information is available. If he can't play Saturday versus the Kings, Connor Mackey could enter the lineup.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: One of each in defeat
Miller delivered a goal and an assist in Sunday's 7-5 loss to Seattle.
Miller snapped a seven-game point drought by recording his first multi-point outing of the campaign Sunday. The left-shot blueliner registered the primary helper on Reilly Smith's tally to open the scoring in the first period, and he added an even-strength goal to cut Seattle's lead to 6-4 in the final frame. The 24-year-old Miller has chipped in two goals and four assists through 26 games. All six of Miller's points have come at even strength, as he receives minimal usage on the power play.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Helpers in consecutive contests
Miller produced an assist in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Flames.
After enduring an 11-game point drought, Miller has a helper in each of the last two contests. He helped out on Will Cuylle's game-tying goal at 16:53 of the second period. Miller has been limited to four points over 18 outings, but he's added a respectable 27 shots on net, 33 hits, 27 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating. He continues to see a top-four role and has frequently played alongside Adam Fox in recent games.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Ends point drought
Miller notched an assist and went plus-2 in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Canucks.
Miller had gone 11 games without a point, posting a minus-8 rating, 16 shots on net, 22 hits and 16 blocked shots in that span. The 24-year-old defenseman has played alongside Adam Fox on the top pairing for the last few contests, though Miller fills more of a shutdown role a la Ryan Lindgren when that's the Rangers' defensive arrangement. Miller has three points, 27 shots on net, 32 hits, 26 blocked shots and a minus-2 rating through 17 appearances. He's reached the 30-point mark in each of the last two seasons, so it's fair to expect a bit more offense from him moving forward.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Pots goal Saturday
Miller scored a goal on three shots, blocked three shots and added two PIM in Saturday's 6-5 overtime loss to Utah.
Miller has gotten a look on the top pairing while Ryan Lindgren (upper body) is on injured reserve. In addition to his fluky goal on a carom off the boards, Miller has five shots on net, six blocked shots, three hits and a plus-3 rating over two contests. The 24-year-old defenseman is also on the second power-play unit, a spot he could hold for most of the campaign. He disappointed with 30 points in 80 regular-season outings in 2023-24, but he had 43 points the year before, showcasing the upside he has on offense.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Sets up two goals Friday
Miller was credited with two assists in Friday's 5-2 preseason loss to the Islanders. He also took two shots and blocked two shots.
Miller was heavily involved on offense early on and had a hand in the team's two goals, scored by Jonny Brodzinski and Adam Fox, but he couldn't escape New York's defensive struggles following the strong start. Miller is penciled as a top-unit defender for the 2024-25 season after notching 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) in 80 regular-season contests in 2023-24.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Posts helper in Game 3 win
Miller logged an assist and two PIM in Sunday's 5-4 overtime win over the Panthers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
Miller has made modest contributions on offense with a goal and three assists over 13 playoff outings while maintaining his second-pairing spot. The defenseman set up the second of Alexis Lafreniere's goals in Sunday's game. Miller has added a physical element with 23 hits, 16 blocked shots and a plus-5 rating this postseason, but without much of a power-play role, his offense is unlikely to improve much.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Generates assist
Miller notched an assist and four shots on goal in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Canadiens.
Miller snapped a nine-game point drought with his helper on Alexis Lafreniere's empty-net tally. The 24-year-old Miller continues to play in a top-four role, but he's had a bit of a down year on offense. He's at 30 points, 93 shots on net, 143 hits, 111 blocked shots and a plus-6 rating through 76 appearances. Miller produced 43 points in 79 outings a year ago.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Two helpers against Isles
Miller collected two assists in Sunday's 5-2 win over the Islanders.
It's the second straight multi-point performance for Miller, with his five points (one goal, four helpers) during that pair of contests, equaling his output from the prior 15 games combined. The 24-year-old blueliner doesn't see significant power play time, so his current surge isn't likely to last long, but on the season he's up to eight goals and 29 points through 66 games.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Three points in big win
Miller produced a goal and two assists in Saturday's 7-4 win over the Penguins.
His tally early in the third period was a back-breaker for Pittsburgh, as it put the Rangers up 6-3. Miller hadn't had a multi-point performance since Dec. 27, which was also the last time he'd found the back of the net. His marker Saturday snapped his 33-game goal drought. On the season, the 24-year-old blueliner has eight goals and 27 points through 65 games.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Assists on empty-netter
Miller had an assist, two shots and a plus-1 rating in Wednesday's 4-1 win over the Blue Jackets.
Miller got the secondary helper on Artemi Panarin's empty-netter, which capped the scoring. The helper was Miller's third in his last five games, but he hasn't posted a multi-point game or scored a goal since a two-goal, three-point offensive outburst against the Capitals on Dec. 27. Miller occasionally shows flashes of brilliance offensively, but his lack of a signature performance over the last two months is due in part to lack of opportunities on the power play -- all but one of Miller's 23 points this season have come at even strength, and the other was scored shorthanded.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Snags helper Monday
Miller registered an assist against the Avs on Monday.
Miller now has helpers in three of his last five contests but hasn't scored since Dec. 27 versus Washington, a stretch of 17 games. During his drought, the Minnesota native recorded a meager 21 shots, which certainly isn't improving his chances of finding the back of the net.

Rangers' K'Andre Miller: Lends assist in overtime loss
Miller recorded an assist, three shots on goal and three hits in Tuesday's 3-2 overtime loss to the Sharks.
Miller helped out on Artemi Panarin's second-period tally. After enduring an 11-game point drought, Miller is emerging from his slump with a helper in each of the last two contests. The 24-year-old blueliner is up to 18 points, 56 shots on net, 59 hits, 60 blocked shots, 26 PIM and a plus-4 rating through 45 outings. He remains firmly in a top-four role, though a lack of power-play time lowers his ceiling in fantasy.
