Ryan McAllister: Having contract terminated

McAllister was placed on waivers by the Panthers on Tuesday for the purpose of having his contract terminated, per Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet. McAllister has never appeared in an NHL game. The 24-year-old center posted two goals, seven points, eight PIM and a minus-5 rating over 15 outings with AHL Charlotte before landing on waivers.
