Eric Tangradi: Bound for KHL
Tangradi agreed to terms on one-year contract with Barys Nur-Sultan (KHL) on Monday.
It will be Tangradi's first foray into European hockey having spent the past 10 seasons playing in North America. Since the start of the 2016-17 campaign, the veteran has only appeared in six NHL contests, all of which came with the Devils last year. This likely marks the end of the center's NHL career, which would see him eventually retire with five goals and 11 helpers in 150 games for Pittsburgh, Winnipeg, Montreal, Detroit and New Jersey.

Tangradi picked up an assist with the Devils in his go-around with the club, but he's bound for Binghamton again, where he's spent the vast majority of the season. The 30-year-old has served mainly as an organizational depth piece over the last handful of seasons and there's nothing to signal that will change in the near future.

Devils' Eric Tangradi: First point in five years
Tangradi picked up an assist in Friday's 3-2 shootout win over the Canucks.
The 30-year-old winger has been up with the Devils for three games, as they have reached deep into the AHL Binghamton system to field a roster while six regular forwards are out. The March 9 promotion gave Tangradi his first chance at NHL action since the 2015-16 season, when he skated in one game with the Red Wings. He's not expected to hold much, if any, fantasy value during this top-level stint.

The big winger missed the vast majority of training camp through injury, which certainly didn't help his case for earning an NHL roster spot. Should he clear waivers, Tangradi is likely to be reassigned to AHL Grand Rapids, where he spent the entirety of last season, scoring 44 points in 54 contests.
