Daniel and Henrik Sedin are 35 years old and aren't going to dominate every night they way they did a few years ago when they each won a scoring title in consecutive seasons and were leading the Canucks to the Presidents' Trophy and the Stanley Cup Final.
But they still play like top-line scorers and every once in a while they will have a game like they did on Saturday where they remind you just how magical they can be when they are on the ice together.
They put in a clinic in the Canucks' 6-3 win over the defending Stanley Cup champion Chicago Blackhawks on Saturday in a game that saw Henrik score a goal and record four assists and Daniel record a hat trick thanks in part to a pair of third period goals. Daniel's third goal, which gave the Canucks a 5-3 lead just two minutes after he put them ahead, was a gorgeous play that saw him score by knocking a perfect saucer pass from his brother out of mid-air behind Blackhawks goalie Corey Crawford.
Just watch this as he knocks it in before the pass can even hit the ice.
That is also some vintage Sedin-to-Sedin-to-Sedin give-and-go action.
This all came on the same night that Daniel topped the 900-point mark for his career.
Here are more of their highlights from Saturday's game.
It was a great night to be a Sedin. #CHIvsVAN https://t.co/zqdRA06G8V
