Igbinoghene racked up a career-high 55 tackles (33 solo) across 17 regular-season appearances with the Commanders in 2024. He also had seven passes defensed and compiled 25 yards on kick returns. Igbinoghene recorded the best season of his career with Washington in 2024, starting 10 of his 17 appearances. During the Commanders' three postseason games, Igbinoghene made 10 tackles (seven solo). After playing out the 2024 campaign on a one-year, $1.29 million contract, Igbinoghene will now become an unrestricted free agent this offseason.... See More ... See Less

Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Ready for Sunday
Igbinoghene (thumb) has no injury designation ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Cowboys, Nicki Jhabvala of The Washington Post reports. Igbinoghene practiced in full Friday after beginning the Commanders' week of practice with back-to-back limited sessions, suggesting that he's moved past his thumb injury in time for Sunday's divisional matchup. Now that the 2020 first-round pick has returned to full health, he's expected to serve as one of Washington's top rotational cornerbacks in Week 12.... See More ... See Less -
Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Dealing with thumb issue
Igbinoghene (thumb) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice. The Auburn product played 56 defensive snaps and recorded six total tackles in the Commanders' Week 11 loss to the Eagles. However, it now appears he picked up a thumb injury in the process. Igbinoghene's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely offer the best indication of whether he can play through the issue in the Week 12 divisional matchup against the Cowboys.... Commanders' Noah Igbinoghene: Signs with Washington
Igbinoghene signed a contract with the Commanders on Sunday, John Keim of ESPN.com reports. Iginoghene had an underwhelming first four years of his career. After tallying 29 tackles and five passes defended over 32 regular-season games with Miami, the 2020 first-round pick was traded to Dallas ahead of the 2023 regular season. He never managed to carve out a significant role with the Cowboys, primarily playing on special teams across five appearances with the team. Igbinogene will now follow former Cowboys defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to Washington.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Noah Igbinoghene: Fifth-year option declined
The Dolphins declined Igbinoghene's fifth-year option Tuesday, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports. Igbinoghene has struggled during his first three years in the NFL, as he's logged only 29 tackles (25 solo) and a single interception in just five starts. The 2020 first-round pick has found himself buried on the depth chart and played only 56 defensive snaps over the team's final nine games last season. With the Dolphins adding three new cornerbacks during the offseason in Jalen Ramsey, Cam Smith and Keion Crossen, Igbinoghene might have an even harder time getting onto the field during the 2023 campaign.... Dolphins' Noah Igbinoghene: Game-sealing interception
Igbinoghene had four tackles (three solo), one pass breakup and one interception during Sunday night's 16-10 win over the Steelers. Igbinoghene's toe-tapping interception came on the Steelers' last play of the game, when he picked off Kenny Pickett in the end zone to seal a win for Miami. The 2020 first-round pick was able to provide a much-needed spark for Miami's depleted secondary, which also saw safety Brandon Jones (knee) depart the Week 7 win early. With Byron Jones (ankle) still on the PUP list, Igbinoghene could be in line for another increased defensive role Week 7 versus the Lions.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Noah Igbinoghene: Activated off COVID-19 list
Igbinoghene (undisclosed) was activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday. Igbinoghene missed the Dolphins' final two games of the season after landing in COVID-19 protocols Jan. 1. He appeared in seven contests for Miami during the 2021-22 campaign, but he played mostly on special teams and recorded just six solo tackles.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Noah Igbinoghene: Added to COVID list
Igbinoghene was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list Saturday. Igbinoghene had been active for each of the Dolphins' last four games. Miami will do without some of its special teams depth as a result.... See More ... See Less -
Dolphins' Noah Igbinoghene: Questionable for Week 7
Igbinoghene (knee) is questionable for Sunday's game against Atlanta, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports. Igbinoghene popped up on the injury report after he was limited in practice Friday, signaling that he sustained a late-week knee injury. If he's unavailable against Atlanta, Elijah Campbell and Trill Williams could see a slight uptick in playing time.... See More ... See Less
