    Patrick was cut from the Titans' practice squad Tuesday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports. Patrick failed to make Tennessee's 53-man roster, but he's been a part of the team's practice squad since the middle of September. The 26-year-old's last in-game action came in 2021 when he made two appearances for the 49ers' and recorded 12 rushing yards. In a corresponding move, the Titans' signed running back Jonathan Ward to their practice squad.

    Patrick signed with the Titans' practice squad Thursday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports. Patrick spent time with Tennessee in training camp but was unable to make the Titans' 53-man roster. With Tyjae Spears dealing with a groin injury, the Florida State product's addition may be seen as an emergency depth option if Spears is unable to play Sunday against the Chargers. In that scenario, an elevation to the active roster may be in Patrick's future.

Patrick linked up with the Titans mid-August, but he won't stick around ahead of Tuesday's deadline to trim down to a 53-man roster. However, Wilson reports that he's likely to resurface via the practice squad if he clears waivers, by virtue of his solid preseason.

    Patrick signed a two-year contract with the Titans on Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports. Patrick has found a new opportunity after being waived by the Broncos in May. The Florida State product last saw NFL game action in 2021 with the 49ers and has since also had stops in Cincinnati and with the XFL's San Antonio Brahmas. He'll now work to make the most of his chance with Tennessee.

Patrick has spent time with the Bengals, 49ers, Panthers and Ravens after going undrafted out of Florida State. However, he most recently played in the XFL with San Antonio, where he accumulated 443 yards on 115 carries. He'll work to earn a depth role in Denver's backfield.
