Panthers' Jonathan Harris: Signed by Panthers
Carolina signed Harris off Miami's practice squad to the active roster Tuesday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Harris was unable to make the Dolphins' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, but he opted to stick around on the practice squad. Now in Carolina, the 28-year-old will provide rotational depth at defensive end behind starters A'Shawn Robinson (knee) and LaBryan Ray. Harris appeared in all 17 regular-season games for the Broncos in 2023 and finished with 43 tackles (26 solo), including 1.0 sacks.

Dolphins' Jonathan Harris: Joins Miami
The Dolphins signed Harris to a one-year deal Thursday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Harris had the best season of his career in 2023, playing 507 defensive snaps while also racking up 43 tackles. Meanwhile, the Dolphins lost the majority of their starting defensive line in the first few days of free agency, so Harris should have a key role with the team in 2024.

Broncos' Jonathan Harris: Set to hit open market
The Broncos informed Harris on Wednesday that he won't be tendered a contract for 2024 and will become an unrestricted free agent, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Harris played in all 17 games (five starts) last season, recording 43 tackles (26 solo) and one sack. The 27-year-old had been scheduled for restricted free agency this offseason, but Denver will allow him to explore his options on the open market. He most likely won't be guaranteed a starting gig at his next stop and may have to settle for a rotational role along the defensive line.

Broncos' Jonathan Harris: Won't play Week 12
Harris (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Panthers, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Harris is expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a knee injury during Denver's Week 11 loss to the Raiders, so his absence Week 12 comes as no surprise. The 26-year-old defensive lineman has seen the field in only three games this season, though his absence will leave the Broncos' defensive line slightly short-handed behind fellow reserves Matt Henningsen and Eyioma Uwazurike. Harris' next opportunity to suit up will come against the Ravens on Sunday, Dec. 4.

Broncos' Jonathan Harris: Won't return Sunday
Harris (knee) was downgraded to out for the remainder of Sunday's game against the Raiders.
Harris picked up a knee injury during the first half that appears serious enough to keep him sidelined for the rest of the Broncos' Week 11 contest. With Eyioma Uwazurike (coach's decision) also inactive, Denver will likely ask Matt Henningsen to step up into a bigger role on the team's undermanned defensive line. Harris' next chance to play will come against the Panthers' on Sunday, Nov. 27.
