Griffin worked out for the Giants on Tuesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Griffin was last waived with an injury settlement from the Titans' injured reserve list in August while tending to an unspecified injury, but his workout Tuesday implies he's moved past the issue. The 213-pound defensive back now will wait for another opportunity to make an active roster.

Michael Griffin: Waived from IR
Griffin (undisclosed) was waived with an injury settlement by the Titans on Monday, per the NFL's transaction log.
Griffin landed on Tennessee's injured reserve list last Wednesday after no team opted to claim him off waivers the previous day. While the exact nature of his injury is still unknown, the undrafted safety is now free to negotiate a contract with a new team this offseason.
