The Patriots waived Wallis on Tuesday, Doug Kyed of the Boston Herald reports.
The undrafted rookie caught two passes for 16 scoreless yards across 57 offensive snaps this preseason. Perhaps Wallis will be a candidate for New England's practice squad.

Patriots' David Wallis: Signs with New England
Wallis signed with the Patriots on Monday.
The free agent took part in the team's rookie minicamp last month. Wallis played four collegiate seasons at Randolph Macon and caught 41 passes for 1,189 yards and 13 touchdowns as a senior in 2022. The 22-year-old will try to compete for a role on a wide receiver depth chart with no clear standouts.
