Andrew Whitaker: Let go by Seattle
The Seahawks waived Whitaker (knee) on Thursday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
Whitaker has yet to appear in an NFL game after spending last season on the Seahawks' injured reserve list, and Seattle has now decided to part ways with the 25-year-old. It seems that Whitaker is past his hamstring issue, and he's free to sign elsewhere after being dropped.

Whitaker (knee) reverted to IR on Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Whitaker will now be forced to miss the 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement with the team. However, considering he will need surgery to repair his patellar tendon, it's possible he'd be unable to play this season, settlement or not.
