It's the second time the Packers have waived Callis with an injury designation in less than a week. He could find his way back to the injured reserve list if he's not picked up by another team during the current waiver period.

Callis has been on the sidelines at the Packers' training camp with a hamstring injury, Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Callis is battling for a depth role at cornerback with the Packers in 2024, but he appears to be in danger of having to sit out Saturday's preseason opener against Cleveland. The 23-year-old will look to return to the field as soon as possible in order to attempt to prove himself for an active roster spot.
