Cameron Kinley: Waived by Tampa Bay
Kinley was waived by the Buccaneers on Sunday.
In order for him to attend training camp with the Buccaneers, Kinley was granted special permission to defer his enlistment into the Navy. However, he struggled during the preseason and was hit with an unnecessary roughness penalty in the third quarter of Saturday's contest against the Bengals. It is unknown if he would be allowed to join another team if he's claimed through waivers.

Buccaneers' Cameron Kinley: Granted permission to play
Kinley has been cleared to participate in training camp for Tampa Bay after U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin granted the request to delay the defensive back's service commitment to the Navy, Rick Stroud of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Kinley's initial request to delay his service commitment was denied, but he's now been cleared to pursue his NFL career. He signed as an undrafted free agent in the spring and will need a strong showing in training camp in order to crack Tampa Bay's season-opening roster.

Buccaneers' Cameron Kinley: Moving to reserve list
Kinley will be placed on the reserve-military list after his request to defer his service commitment was denied by the Navy, Greg Auman of The Athletic reports.
He signed with Tampa Bay as an undrafted free agent in May, but he won't be able to join the team due to his service obligations. The Buccaneers will retain Kinley's contract rights, so he could receive another opportunity with the team later on.
