  • Cardinals' Tejhaun Palmer: Signs with active roster

The Cardinals signed Palmer from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Rams. Palmer has resided on the Cardinals' practice squad for the entirety of the 2025 season, but he will join the active roster for the Week 18 divisional contest. The wide receiver will likely function as a special-teams reserve player, as he is listed as the No. 5 option at receiver behind Michael Wilson, Xavier Weaver, Jalen Brooks and Steven Sims.

  • Tejhaun Palmer: Back with Arizona on practice squad

The Cardinals signed Palmer to the practice squad Thursday, Zach Gershman of the team's official site reports. The 2024 sixth-rounder was cut by the Cardinals on Tuesday after logging three catches (on eight targets) for 18 yards across three preseason games. • Tejhaun Palmer: Let go by Arizona

Palmer was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official website reports. Palmer signed a reserve/future contract with Arizona in January, reeling in three catches for 18 yards over two preseason contests with the team. The wide receiver spent the 2024 season with the Cardinals' practice squad, and he may do the same in 2025.

  • Cardinals' Tejhaun Palmer: Staying in Arizona

The Cardinals signed Palmer to a reserve/future contract Monday, Tyler Drake of ArizonaSports.com reports. Palmer failed to make the Cardinals' active roster in late August, but he spent his 2024 campaign on the practice squad and will remain in Arizona after inking a reserve/future contract Monday. The 2024 sixth-round pick from UAB has yet to appear in an NFL game, but he's expected to have the opportunity to compete for a depth spot in the Cardinals' wide-receiver room throughout the offseason.

  • Tejhaun Palmer: Stays with franchise

Palmer signed with the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. Palmer was a 2024 sixth-round selection out of UAB by Arizona, but despite that, he was unable to secure a spot on the team's final roster. However, he'll now have the opportunity to stick around in the desert and work to earn a spot on the 53-man roster.

  • Tejhaun Palmer: Let go by Arizona

Palmer was waived by the Cardinals on Tuesday, Darren Urban of the team's official site reports. • Cardinals' Tejhaun Palmer: Added to receiver room in 'Zona

The Cardinals selected Palmer in the sixth round of the 2024 NFL Draft, 191st overall. It's a bit of a surprise that Palmer was drafted prior to the seventh round, but he has some interesting traits. He stands at 6-foot-2 with 4.45 speed according to UAB's Pro Day data and was a Third Team All-AAC player in 2023. However, he will turn 24 in May. He caught 47 passes for 858 yards and seven touchdowns last season and began his career at Snow College in Utah. Even with the age concern, there are intriguing elements to his game if he can make a quick transition to the next level.
