  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Scores 15th rushing TD in finale

Jacobs rushed six times for 44 yards and a touchdown while catching his only target for two yards in Sunday's 24-22 loss to the Bears.

Jacobs extended his touchdown streak to eight games with his 15th rushing touchdown of the season on a nine-yard run in the second quarter. That play capped Jacobs' first regular season in Green Bay, as Emanuel Wilson and Chris Brooks handled backfield duties the rest of the way. Jacobs rushed 301 times for 1,329 yards and 15 touchdowns while adding 36 catches for 342 yards and his first career receiving touchdown on 43 targets in the regular season. The seventh-seeded Packers will travel to Philadelphia in the wild-card round.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: No injury designation

Jacobs (wrist) doesn't have an injury designation for Sunday's game against the Bears.

Jacobs never seemed in real danger of missing the game and figures to occupy his usual role as Green Bay's workhorse. There is some chance of his usage eventually being scaled back, however, as the team's chances to move up from the seventh seed to No. 6 depend on the Cowboys beating the Commanders in a game that takes place at the same time as Green Bay's. In other words, the Packers may start to pull starters if it looks like a victory won't help them avoid a first-round trip to Philadelphia.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Another limited session

Jacobs (wrist) practiced in a limited fashion Thursday, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

Jacobs opened Week 18 prep with a limited walkthrough Wednesday and maintained that activity level a day later, giving him one more chance to get back to full participation Friday or else risk entering the weekend with a designation ahead of Sunday's contest against the Bears. In his first meeting with Chicago this season, Jacobs went for 134 yards from scrimmage and one rushing TD on 22 touches back in Week 11.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Limited by wrist injury

Jacobs was a limited practice participant Wednesday due to a wrist injury, Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports.

His ability to participate in any capacity for the first practice of the week suggests Jacobs likely will play Sunday against the Bears. Green Bay is only playing for the difference between the Nos. 6 and 7 seeds in the NFC playoffs in Week 18, but that doesn't mean the game will be treated different from any other.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Rare miscue in loss to Vikings

Jacobs rushed the ball 17 times for 69 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 27-25 win over the Packers. He also lost a fumble.

The Packers got off to a slow start offensively, and Jacobs played a key role in that by losing a fumble on the team's opening possession. He made up for the miscue later in the contest with a two-yard touchdown plunge, his 15th score of the campaign. Jacobs has now found the end zone in seven consecutive games, making him one of the most consistent fantasy performers at the position.

  • Packers' Josh Jacobs: Gains 107 yards in three quarters

Jacobs rushed 13 times for 69 yards and a touchdown while recording four receptions on as many targets for 38 yards in Monday's 34-0 win over New Orleans.

Jacobs was able to carve out a strong fantasy line for managers in just a shade over two quarters of action in Monday's romp. His lack of carries over the final 25 minutes of the game isn't believed to be the result of an injury; instead, head coach Matt LaFleur likely just wanted to give the workhorse back a breather while the Packers had the victory well in hand. Fantasy managers can expect a well-rested Jacobs in Week 17, when the Packers visit the Vikings on Sunday.
