Wendall Williams: Agrees to injury settlement
Williams (collarbone) was released by the Texans on an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Williams originally landed on IR after breaking his collarbone in the Texans' third exhibition. Given his blazing speed, it wouldn't be a surprise if Williams resurfaces with another team this season.

Wendall Williams: Heads for waivers with injury tag
Williams (collarbone) was waived/injured by the Texans on Saturday.
Williams spent most of 2016 on the practice squad, but he was promoted to the active roster for the final three games and caught three passes for 75 yards. Expect him to clear waivers and be placed on injured reserve with the possibility of an injury settlement when he's healthy.

Texans' Wendall Williams: Suffers broken collarbone Saturday
Williams suffered a broken collarbone during Saturday's preseason matchup against the Saints, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
No timetable for a return has been declared as of yet, though Williams is relatively near the bottom of the pecking order as a wide receiver, so the injury likely won't have too many fantasy implications. That said, it could open up more opportunities for the likes of Dres Anderson and Bruce Ellington.

Texans' Wendall Williams: Active for Week 15
Williams was active for Sundays game against the Jaguars and caught two of three targets for 34 yards in Houston's 21-20 win in Week 15.
Williams was promoted to the active roster from the practice squad earlier in the week and was pressed into duty. The Texans had a new look passing attack Sunday after head coach Bill O'Brien yanked an ineffective Brock Osweiler for Tom Savage. The change resulted in a different targret distribution, which included getting some balls to Williams. It's unknown at this point if O'Brien will keep Savage as the starter, but if he does, Williams could sneak in as the third wideout ahead of Keith Mumphery

Texans' Wendall Williams: Promoted to Texans' roster
The Texans promoted Williams from the practice squad to their active roster Tuesday, the Houston Chronicle reports.
The Texans wanted to add another receiver to the roster with Braxton Miller (shoulder) no lock to play this week, so they decided to bring up Williams from the practice squad. Williams will slot in at the bottom run on the depth chart, but he should be plenty familiar with the Texans' playbook, having spent all but a couple months with the team since signing with them as an undrafted free agent earlier this year.
