Yosh Nijman: Announces retirement
Nijman announced his retirement from the NFL on Wednesday, Joe Person of The Athletic reports.
Nijman will hang up his cleats after six seasons with the Packers and Panthers. The offensive lineman made 29 starts during his career, most recently starting four games with Carolina in 2025.

Panthers' Yosh Nijman: Starting at tackle
Nijman will start Sunday's game against the Buccaneers at left tackle, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Nijman is the primary depth option at tackle for the Panthers, and with the absence of Ikem Ekwonu (ankle) for Sunday's game, the reserve player will get a chance to play. The backup tackle has played 224 snaps so far this year, filling in for Ekwonu in Week 1 and for Taylor Moton in Week 6 and Week 9.

Panthers' Yosh Nijman: Passes physical
Nijma (undisclosed) was reinstated off the Panthers' active/PUP list Thursday after passing his physical, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Nijman spent the first four years of his career with the Packers, appearing in 67 regular-season games (including 22 starts, 13 of which came in 2022). He signed with the Panthers in March to provide depth to the offensive line. He's missed all of training camp due to an unspecified issue, but the 28-year-old is back and could suit up for Saturday's preseason finale against Buffalo.
