Eagles' J.T. Gray: Inks deal with Philly
The Eagles signed Gray to a one-year contract Friday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Gray spent his first seven seasons with the Saints and was selected to the Pro Bowl and named a first-team All-Pro as a special-teams ace in 2021. He was a second-team All-Pro twice. Gray was released ahead of Week 1 last summer and spent the 2025 campaign bouncing around the league with the Ravens, Broncos and Bucs, appearing in just five regular-season contests.

Buccaneers' J.T. Gray: Healthy and elevated
The Buccaneers elevated Gray (hamstring) from the practice squad to the active roster for Thursday night's game against the Falcons, Scott Smith of the team's official site reports.
Gray was also cleared of a hamstring injury that had plagued him throughout the end of his tenure with the Broncos. After being waived by Denver on Nov. 4, the 29-year-old signed with the Buccaneers' practice squad Nov. 21 and will get his first opportunity with the team Thursday night. The safety was likely elevated due to the uncertainty surrounding Tykee Smith's (neck) ability to suit up for the divisional matchup.

J.T. Gray: Let go by Denver
The Broncos waived Gray (hamstring) with an injury designation Tuesday, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Gray is headed to waivers after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's win over the Texans, which was just his first outing of the campaign. The special-teams standout will look to get healthy and find a new opportunity elsewhere.

Broncos' J.T. Gray: Won't return with hamstring injury
Gray (hamstring) has been ruled out for the rest of Sunday's game against the Texans, Parker Gabriel of The Denver Post reports.
Gray may have sustained the injury on special teams, which is severe enough for him to not return to Sunday's game. The injury could impact his availability for the Broncos' Week 10 contest against the Raiders on Thursday.

J.T. Gray: Placed on practice-squad IR
The Ravens placed Gray (undisclosed) on the practice-squad injured list Tuesday.
Gray was a surprise cut by the Saints ahead of Week 1 and quickly signed with the Ravens' practice squad. He was a second-team All-Pro selection as a special teams player last season. Gray has yet to be elevated this season and will now miss at least the next four games.

J.T. Gray: Signs with Baltimore
Gray was signed to the Ravens' practice squad Wednesday, Jeff Zrebiec of The Athletic reports.
Gray was released by the Saints on Monday, but it didn't take long for him to find his next opportunity in Baltimore. The safety has excelled as a special-teams asset throughout his career, and it wouldn't be a major surprise to see him elevated to the active roster this season.

J.T. Gray: Let go by New Orleans
The Saints released Gray (hamstring) on Monday.
Gray dealt with a hamstring issue in July, but he returned to practice in early August. However, the veteran special-teams ace has lost his spot on the roster after seven seasons with the Saints. Gray has made three All-Pro squads for his work on special teams, so it seems likely he'll find work elsewhere for an organization looking for a player with his skill set.

The injury puts Gray in jeopardy of missing preseason games, starting with the Saints' opener against the Chargers on Aug. 10. Gray primarily served on special teams across 17 regular-season games in 2024 and finished with 25 tackles (12 solo) and one forced fumble.
