Awuzie logged three tackles (two solo) during the Titan's loss to the Jaguars on Sunday.
Awuzie landed on injured reserve with a groin injury following the team's Week 3 loss versus the Packers but managed to make his return Sunday. Not only did he rack up a season-high three tackles but also hauled in his first interception of the campaign.

Titans' Chidobe Awuzie: Activated off IR
The Titans activated Awuzie (groin) from injured reserve Saturday, Jim Wyatt of the team's official site reports.
Awuzie was placed on injured reserve in late September after suffering a groin injury against the Packers in Week 3. He's been sidelined for the Titans' last nine games, but he will return for Sunday's game against the Jaguars after fully practicing all week. Awuzie will likely reclaim his starting spot at outside corner opposite either Jarvis Brownlee (hip) or Darrell Baker.

Awuzie has missed the Titans' last nine games after being placed on injured reserve due to a a groin injury sustained in a Week 3 loss to the Packers. However, the veteran cornerback practiced in full all week and appears poised to make his return in Week 14. Titans' Chidobe Awuzie: Expected to return for Week 14
The Titans are expected to activate Awuzie (groin) from injured reserve ahead of Sunday's game against the Jaguars, Turron Davenport of ESPN.com reports.
Awuzie has been on the Titans' injured reserve since suffering a groin injury in Week 3 against the Packers. He was cleared to return from IR on Nov. 27, and seeing as he opened the week as a full practice participant, he appears to be on track to play in Sunday's AFC South clash. If Awuzie does return, he'll likely reclaim his starting spot at outside corner opposite Jarvis Brownlee (hip) while Darrell Baker reverts to a rotational role.

Awuzie (groin) has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Commanders, Jim Wyatt of the Titans' official site reports.
Awuzie will miss a ninth straight game due to a groin injury he suffered during the Titans' Week 3 loss to the Packers. He was designated to return from injured reserve Wednesday, and while he was able to participate in practice all week in a limited capacity, he hasn't progressed enough in his recovery to return for Week 13. Awuzie has spent the last eight games on the sidelines due to a groin injury he suffered in Week 3 versus the Packers, but it now looks like he could be close to suiting back up. The Titans placed Awuzie (groin) on injured reserve Friday.
Coach Brian Callahan had already said this move was coming this week. Awuzie started all three games to begin the season, registering four tackles (three solo) before going down last week against the Packers. Look for Jarvis Brownlee to enter the rotation at cornerback alongside L'Jarius Sneed and Roger McCreary for Tennessee. Awuzie will be eligible to return in Week 9 against the Patriots since the Titans have a Week 5 bye.
