LaRoy Reynolds: Placed on practice squad injured list
Reynolds (undisclosed) was placed on the Jets' practice squad injured list Tuesday, Ethan Greenberg of the Jets' official site reports.
Reynolds was just signed to the Jets practice squad on Oct. 26. The nine-year veteran last saw NFL action with the Falcons in 2020, mostly on special teams. Although Reynolds is only on the practice squad, this is another blow to the Jets depth at linebacker, a position at which they have dealt with a plethora of injuries over the last few weeks.

49ers' LaRoy Reynolds: Signs with 49ers
Reynolds was signed by the 49ers on Monday to a one-year deal.
Reynolds has established himself as a special teams player during his tenure in the NFL, never once playing more snaps on defense than on special teams over the span of a season. He likely will reprise that role with the 49ers, but he also will serve as linebacker depth and could contribute if injuries were to happen.

Reynolds (undisclosed) had two assisted tackles in Thursday's preseason game against the Browns.

Reynolds signed with the Eagles on Tuesday.

Falcons' LaRoy Reynolds: Practices at full speed
Reynolds (pectoral) was a full participant in Wednesday's practice and is in line to play Sunday against the Panthers, Kelsey Conway of the Falcons' official site reports.
Reynolds is still looking for his first game action since he has spent the first eight weeks of the season on injured reserve. In 2016, he played every game, but he was rarely summoned in defensive situations, much like every season in his career. Top middle linebacker Deion Jones (ankle) was limited in Wednesday's practice, though, so Reynolds could see an increase in snaps that way. Regardless, Reynolds shouldn't be considered dependable for fantasy owners.

Falcons' LaRoy Reynolds: Lands on IR
Reynolds (pectoral) was placed on injured reserve Monday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal Constitution reports.
Reynolds was mainly a special teams contributor in 2016, but in training camp he did rotate in at weak-side and middle linebacker. With just one tackle in the first three preseason contests, though, he likely would have been back to special teams duties. Unless the rest of the Falcons stay of injured reserve, don't expect Reynolds to be one of two activations this season.

Falcons' LaRoy Reynolds: Out for Thursday's preseason finale
Reynolds will miss the Falcons' preseason finale Thursday with a chest injury, D. Orlando Ledbetter of AJC.com reports.
Reynolds appeared to be dealing with a shoulder injury following the Falcons' third preseason contest, but it seems that his chest is what's actually bothering him at the moment. The team likely is playing it safe by holding him out of the final preseason game, but there's a chance this could linger into the regular season. Reynolds is expected to serve as a primary backup inside linebacker for Atlanta in his sixth season.
