Glenn Gronkowski: Waived by Patriots
Gronkowski was waived by the Patriots on Friday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Gronkowski, who fumbled in his only touch in the preseason finale, simply didn't do enough this summer to warrant a roster spot. He's still a candidate for the practice squad.

Patriots' Glenn Gronkowski: Joins Patriots via reserve/future contract
Gronkowski signed a reserve/future contract with the Patriots on Tuesday.
Gronkowski returns to New England after having four different stints with the Patriots' practice squad. He spent time with the Bills during last year's preseason but was released by the team after Week 1 of the regular season. He'll now work to remain on the Patriots' 53-man roster for the foreseeable future.

Glenn Gronkowski: Let go by Patriots
Gronkowski has been released from the Patriots' practice squad.
Gronkowski has had three separate stints with the Patriots' practice squad, so he may be back with the team in time, but the move frees up a spot for running back D.J. Foster, who went unclaimed after the Patriots waived him.

Glenn Gronkowski: Joins Patriots' practice squad
The Patriots have added Gronkowski to their practice squad.
Gronkowski, who was originally signed to the Patriots practice squad on Oct. 1 before being released on Oct. 12, resurfaces with the team, though it would likely take an injury to fellow fullback James Develin for the younger brother of star tight end Rob Gronkowski to land on the team's 53-man roster.

Glenn Gronkowski: Short stay in hometown
Gronkowski was released Monday when the team brought back Jerome Felton, BuffaloBills.com reports.
It's been a tough few days for the Gronkowski brothers, as Rob wasn't able to play in Sunday's prime time game while now Glenn gets his walking papers from his hometown team. Rex Ryan seems to love the baby brother even though he showed nowhere near the ability to open up holes as the veteran Felton, so we'll see if the Bills bring him back down the road in some kind of hybrid role.

Bills' Glenn Gronkowski: Another Gronk in the AFC East
The Bills released Jerome Felton on Friday, meaning Gronkowski, an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State, has won the starting fullback job.
Baby Gronk had a great camp and in the end the Bills like his upside more than the veteran Felton. Gronkowski won't touch the ball much even though he's got a decent set of hands, but at least he'll get to open up some holes for one of the league's better running attacks. He might be able to vulture a touchdown or two along the way around the goal line. Maybe we'll see if he spikes the ball really hard like someone else in the division.

Bills' Glenn Gronkowski: Practices with starters Monday
Gronkowski practiced with the Bills' first-team offense Monday, Vic Carucci of The Buffalo News reports.
Perhaps Jerome Felton's goal-line fumble during the Bills' preseason beatdown of the Giants on Saturday has something to do with this, but it will be interesting to see whether Gronkowski will remain with the starting unit moving forward. The Bills figure to carry only one of their two currently-rostered fullbacks into the regular season, and, up until now, Felton seemed to considered the heavy favorite. However, whoever does win out will primarily be tasked with clearing the way for RB LeSean McCoy in Buffalo's run-centric offense and likely won't attain fantasy relevance in 2016.
