Goodley was placed on Injured Reserve early in training camp. His injury settlement frees him up to sign with another team once he's healthy.

Antwan Goodley: Waived by Kansas City
Goodley was waived by the Chiefs on Monday, Terez A. Paylor of the Kansas City Star reports.
Goodley, who had just signed with the Chiefs on Sunday, was waived alongside TE Emanuel Byrd. The team signed wide receivers Rob Wheelright and Corey Washington to take their places on the roster.

Chiefs' Antwan Goodley: Signs with Chiefs
Goodley signed a contract with the Chiefs on Friday.
An undrafted free agent back in 2014, Goodley has seen short stints with the likes of the Cowboys, Seahawks and Packers. However, he's never appeared in a regular-season game and will likely be a long shot to make the Chiefs' final roster. Goodley caught 150 passes for 2,366 yards and 21 touchdowns in his four-year collegiate career with Baylor.
