The Tennessee Titans were one-and-done in the NFL playoffs last season after a 2019-20 postseason run that took them all the way to the AFC Championship game. This year, the Titans finished the regular season with the top seed in the NFL playoff bracket and will begin their campaign in the divisional round against the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals were able to stay in front of Las Vegas and advance from Super Wild Card Weekend with a 26-19 win last Saturday. You can stream the game on Paramount+.
Kickoff is set for 4:30 p.m. ET from Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Caesars Sportsbook lists Tennessee as a four-point favorite in the latest Titans vs. Bengals odds, while the over-under for total points scored is 48. AFC Wild Card picks for Bengals vs. Titans
Before you tune in to Saturday's Titans vs. Bengals game, you need to see the NFL picks from SportsLine's advanced computer model. The model, which simulates every NFL game 10,000 times, is up over $7,500 for $100 players on top-rated NFL picks since its inception six-plus years ago. The model enters the divisional round of the 2021 NFL playoffs on an incredible 137-97 run on top-rated NFL picks that dates back to the 2017 season. Amazingly, it hasn't missed a top-rated pick since Week 14 of the regular season.
The model also ranked in the top 10 on NFLPickWatch four of the past five years on straight-up NFL picks and beat more than 94 percent of CBS Sports Football Pick'em players four times during that span. Anyone who has followed it is way up.
For Titans vs. Bengals, the model is backing Cincinnati to stay within the spread. Tennessee is 2-2 at home this season against the spread when favored by 4.5 points or fewer, so the Titans don't appear to have a discernible advantage by hosting Saturday's game. The two sides played last season, when Cincinnati quarterback Joe Burrow threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns in a 31-20 win.
The Titans have also allowed the eighth-most yards through the air this season, with 4,169. Before Burrow's tidy outing against Las Vegas last weekend, he wrapped up the regular season on fire. In his four final regular season starts, he completed 75 percent of his passes for 1,476 yards, 11 touchdowns and no interceptions. Rookie Ja'Marr Chase had nine catches for 116 yards last weekend, which should be of concern to a Titans defense that allowed the sixth-most explosive pass plays to opponents this season, with 60.
SportsLine's model predicts Burrow will top 260 passing yards with a strong chance to throw two touchdowns. Chase is projected to finish with a game-high 84 receiving yards, and the Bengals' offense should keep Cincinnati in the game, as the Bengals cover in just over 50 percent of all simulations.
