Who's Playing
Chicago @ Seattle
Current Records: Chicago 4-10; Seattle 5-9
What to Know
The Seattle Seahawks will be returning home after a two-game road trip. They will take on the Chicago Bears in a holiday battle at 4:05 p.m. ET Sunday at Lumen Field. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
It was all tied up 3-3 at halftime, but Seattle was not quite the Los Angeles Rams' equal in the second half when they met on Tuesday. The Seahawks came up short against the Rams, falling 20-10. QB Russell Wilson had a memorable game, but not in the way you want to be remembered: besides failing to produce a single touchdown, he threw one interception with only 5.03 yards per passing attempt.
Meanwhile, Chicago came up short against the Minnesota Vikings last week, falling 17-9. No one had a standout game offensively for the Bears, but they got one touchdown from QB Justin Fields. Fields ended up with a passer rating of 136.50.
The Seahawks are now 5-9 while Chicago sits at 4-10. A couple numbers to keep in mind before kickoff: Seattle is worst in the NFL in passing yards allowed per game, with 286.7 on average. The Bears have experienced some struggles of their own as they are stumbling into the game with the fewest passing yards per game in the league, having accrued only 206.2 on average. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
