Ravens delete tone-deaf Janay Rice tweet from May
The Ravens deleted a tone-deaf tweet about Janay Rice from May on Monday after releasing Ray Rice.

On May 23, the Ravens held a press conference feature Ray Rice -- who they cut on Monday -- and Janay Rice -- his wife, whom he recently married. At the press conference, Janay inexplicably bore some responsibility for the incident.
"I do deeply regret the role that I played in the incident that night," she said.
Even more inexplicably, and in one of the most tone-deaf PR/media moves you'll ever seen, the Ravens tweeted Janay's comments. Despite obvious public backlash they continued to leave the tweet up.
Until Monday afternoon, when the Ravens finally deleted it.
Like any deleted tweet, it now says "Sorry that page doesn't exist!" But this the Internet so it's never going to really disappear.

Rice was suspended indefinitely by the NFL on Monday and won't have any contract with a new team approved according to reports.
