Peyton and Eli Manning's "Monday Night Football" broadcast has brought in a star-studded guest list every week, and this Monday was no different. After "Sunday Night Football" broadcaster Al Michaels joined first, Phil Mickelson showed his own football chops -- and his trash-talking abilities -- in the second quarter.
Michaels joined the broadcast late in the first quarter, and among the highlights -- or lowlights from Michaels' perspective -- of his appearance was his golfing footage.

In the second quarter came a guy who's a little better at golf: Mickelson, whose background will be tough to top: the Wanamaker Trophy from his 2021 PGA Championship triumph.

Mickelson, fresh off a win at the Champions Tour's Charles Schwab Cup Championship, won't be playing next weekend for one simple reason: He believes in the ManningCast curse.
Every big-name player that has appeared on the ManningCast has lost the following week, so Mickelson won't be risking it.

The 45-time PGA Tour winner had clearly prepared well and had plenty of insightful questions for Peyton and Eli. But when it came to Eli's golf swing, Mickelson made sure to let everyone know he was the expert -- and he can talk some trash, too.

Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green came on shortly after halftime as the third guest of the broadcast.
