Arizona's Patrick Peterson became the highest-paid cornerback in the league on Tuesday night when he announced to the world that he had signed a five-year extension worth $70 million with $48 million in guaranteed money.
Those totals were more than the $57 million and $40 million guaranteed that Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman procured for himself in the offseason, though, to be fair, Sherman's $14.25 million average per year is more than Peterson's $14 million per season.
Either way, it's a point for Peterson -- who is thought to be one of the best cornerbacks in the league along with Sherman.
Thus, after securing his large payday, the Cardinals standout on Wednesday morning sub-tweeted at Sherman on Twitter.
Yu mad bro!!!! LMAO?????

And here's Sherman's perfect response only a few minutes later.
Can't ever be too mad lmao... pic.twitter.com/ZHA28B9Tji

Point for Sherman.
Oh, and Sherman also made sure to RT this fact.
Richard Sherman and Patrick Peterson combined to allow 8 touchdown passes in 2013. Peterson gave up seven of those.
