For the first time this season, the NFL has made a change to the 2016 schedule. The league has switched the times for two games that will kickoff on Oct. 30.

The Cardinals' game against the Panthers in Carolina, which was previously scheduled to kickoff at 4:25 p.m. ET, will now kickoff at 1 p.m. ET.

The NFL's decision to move this game to a less attractive time slot isn't exactly a surprise. Before the season started, most people circled this game as a must-watch because it's a rematch of last year's NFC title game. However, the game has lost some luster through five weeks with the Cardinals sitting at 2-3 and the Panthers at 1-4.

With the Arizona-Carolina game being moved to 1 p.m., the league will fill their original time slot by moving the Packers-Falcons game to 4:25 p.m. ET. A matchup between the 4-1 Falcons and 3-1 Packers is obviously a lot more attractive to viewers, which is why the NFL made the minor scheduling change.

Both games will still be televised on Fox.

If you're wondering why the Packers-Falcons game didn't get flexed to Sunday night, it's because the Cowboys are already scheduled to play in that game, and there's a zero percent chance they would ever be flexed out.
