The four 'Madden 16' finalists. (via EA Sports)

The offseason is in full swing now with the 2015 NFL Draft over and that means we're focused on next season, which means we have to figure out who will grace the cover of Madden 16.

EA Sports has narrowed the finalists to four people: Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski, Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr., Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson and Steelers wideout Antonio Brown.

First of all, that's four excellent candidates. Second of all, this is a two-man race.

No offense to Brown, an underrated celebrity guy, or Peterson, a stud corner.

But ODB is a legend after his catch -- and incredible season -- from 2014 and Gronk is an MVP of the Human Race at the current moment, soaking in every glorious instance of offseason celebrity.

If he wants to win this contest, he's winning this contest. Patriots fans might not love him being on the cover what with a theory of the Madden Cover Jinx floating out there and Gronk's history of injury.
