Remember that time your girlfriend threw you a party right before she dumped you? Probably not, because that never happens, but it's happening in St. Louis.

The Rams are holding a "Fan Appreciation Day" in the city, even though they don't want to be in the city and they want to move 2,000 miles away to Los Angeles.

Judging by the reaction on Twitter, the promotion probably isn't going to go too well.

The move to L.A. isn't the only thing that's making fans mad. Some fans are mad because they think the 4-8 Rams are putting a lousy product on the field.

This could go down as the worst "Fan Appreciation Day" ever.

Anyway, if you're wondering what exactly happens on Fan Appreciation Day, I'll let the Rams explain: "As a thank you to the fans, hot dogs, fountain soda and popcorn will be 50 percent off. Merchandise will be discounted 25-50 percent off at the Team Store and throughout the Edward Jones Dome on gameday. Fans can also participate in a special 'Sideline Sale' located outside section 414 with official sideline gear available for 50 percent off or more."

Fifty percent off on NFL gear that might be outdated in 30 days if the team moves to LA sounds like a great deal -- A deal so good that it looks like about 600 fans showed up for it.

Although most fan appreciation days are held at a team's final home game, the Rams' game against Detroit on Sunday isn't the team's home finale, that won't come until Thursday when St. Louis hosts the Buccaneers

If the Rams don't end up moving to L.A., things could definitely get awkward next season.
