Based on the way the rookie slotting system works in the NFL, new Bears quarterback Mitchell Trubisky will be getting a deal worth roughly $29 million over the next four years when he finally signs his new contract.
However, Trubisky doesn't have that money yet, and because of that, he's still living life like a college kid who has zero funds in his bank account. For instance, Trubisky is still driving a car that his grandma gave him -- the car, which is almost as old as he is, that he used to drive to Bears rookie camp Thursday.
Trubisky is only three years older than his 1997 Toyota Camry.
Apparently, Trubisky drove the car all the way from North Carolina at the behest of Bears general manager Ryan Pace.
"So we go to dinner, and we're walking back to the parking lot, all of us, and he's walking toward his car and he starts laughing," Pace said after the first round of the NFL Draft, via ESPN.com. "There's some hubcaps that are missing, and the thing is kind of just falling apart, and we joked at that moment like, 'Hey, you need to bring this car to Chicago, don't change.' And he's like, 'I don't know if it's going to make it to Chicago,' so I said, 'I don't care if you have to change the engine but you've got to keep the shell.'"

Trubisky stayed true to his word and showed up with his grandmother's Camry on Thursday. The Bears' rookie camp kicks off Friday and runs through Sunday.
As the No. 2 overall pick in the draft, Trubisky is going to be millionaire soon; however, that doesn't mean he's necessarily looking to replace his sweet ride. Trubisky might hold off on buying a new car and keep his ride.
"I'm a very simple person," Trubisky said, via CBS Chicago. "That's who I've always been, that's how I was raised, to be conservative and stick to who I am. That's who I'm going to be."
Trubisky should think about starting a car club with Kirk Cousins and Alfred Morris, who both have been known to drive clunkers.
Cousins owns a conversion van, although he might have to get rid of it soon because it keeps dying.

As for Morris, he's still driving a 1991 Mazda that he bought for two dollars.
