The NFL has figured out a way to spice up next Thursday's game between the 2-6 Titans and 2-6 Jaguars: The league's putting both teams in new uniforms, so get ready for all the blue and gold that you can possibly handle.
Although Tennessee's new uniforms will look familiar to Titans fans, Jaguars fans might not recognize their team when Jacksonville takes the field on Nov. 12. For the first time in team history, the Jags will be wearing gold -- or as the NFL calls it, "Bold Gold" or as I call it, mustard mixed with gold mixed with more mustard.

The Jaguars have worn teal jerseys, black jerseys and white jerseys in team history, but this is the first time they'll be sporting gold. You can see what the jerseys and pants look like in these photos from the Jags' website.

The Jags will also be wearing gold cleats.

The Titans will be wearing light blue for the game.

The light blue look won't be breaking any new ground for the Titans. The team also wore an all light blue combo for a game in 2013. The Titans website notes that the new light blue uniforms will be in "better detail" than the old ones.
The Titans and Jags are both wearing new uniforms as part of the NFL's color rush campaign that's being run with Nike.
Eight teams offered to participate in the campaign, which runs from Nov. 12 thru Dec. 17. The Jaguars are one of three teams that offered to undergo a major uniform change. The Bills and the Rams are the other two.
Buffalo wore all-red for the first time in team history on Thursday while the Rams are scheduled to wear a gold jersey on Dec. 17 vs. the Buccaneers.
The color rush campaign will completely take over the NFL in 2016. Every team that plays on Thursday night will have a new uniform combo for that specific game only.
