The Spring of Gronk continues apace. On Tuesday, Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski traveled to Foxborough schools on what was supposed to be a Lombardi Trophy tour, according to the team's official web site.
Instead of a simple tour, his school appearances turned into a a series of impromptu Q&As, photo sessions, spiking contests and dance-offs. He started the day at Foxborough High School before making his way to all three Foxborough elementary schools and Ahern Middle School, to the surprise of students and faculty alike.
Gronk not only participated in the spiking contests and dance-offs, but acted as a judge and awarded the winners a signed Patriots football. Of course, there are photo and Vine highlights from throughout the day below.

And of course, Gronk spiking something:
Superintendent Debra Spinelli, who was on the tour with Gronkowski, told the Pats' official web site, “To have a mega-talented athlete and amazing role model like Rob Gronkowski visit each of our five schools as part of this special Super Bowl Trophy Tour was, simply put, a once-in-a-lifetime event. He helped us celebrate our students' hard work and our own professional teamwork in the most unique way. Throw in a little spike contest and a supercharged dance-off contest? Priceless." Priceless, indeed.
