The man who orchestrated the Rams' relocation to Los Angeles sounds like he might be ready to help with another move.

After the Chargers, Rams and Raiders reached a relocation impasse back in January, it was Cowboys owner Jerry Jones who came up with the compromise that eventually sent the Rams to L.A. and kept the Chargers and Raiders in their respective cities.

Although there's still a strong possibility that the Chargers end up staying in San Diego, things are looking bleak for the Raiders in Oakland.

As a matter of fact, things are so bad in the Bay Area that Raiders owner Mark Davis has already pledged to leave for Las Vegas if that city approves funding for a new stadium.

If a move is going to happen though, Davis is going to need 24 owners to approve it. Three months ago, owner approval seemed like a longshot. However, that doesn't seem to be the case anymore, and that's mainly thanks to Jones.

The man who spearheaded the Rams' move seems to be onboard with a possible Raiders' move. During an interview at a golf tournament in Texas on Wednesday, Jones called Vegas "one of the real crown jewels of communities in the United States."

"It has a flair for entertainment, and it has two million people, and they're avid sports fans, the full-time residents," Jones said, via ESPN.com. "They have a huge visiting contingent that more often than not are fans of some NFL football teams. You add all that together, and it's certainly in a conversation about the future relative to the NFL. As you well know, you have to have the right situation. You have to have the right ownership, want to and then a lot of other considerations that have to come into play."

One of those "other considerations" that Jones is referring to happens to be gambling. Although the NFL has made it clear that it's staunchly against gambling, Jones thinks the league would be willing to overlook that because Vegas' "entertainment value" overshadows the gambling.

"For me, I think that certainly the fact that Las Vegas has a gambling aspect to it is far overshadowed by the entertainment value, if you will, family appeal, that you have, the convention appeal," Jones said. "So it does not have disfavor with me, in my opinion, relative to being an NFL city."

The mayor of Las Vegas seems to believe the Raiders are going to move, and with both Davis and Jones on board, a Raiders relocation to Sin City looks more and more realistic by the day.
