With the release of the 2020 NFL schedule coming so late this year, one thing that kind of got lost in the shuffle is the preseason schedule. Although no one actually knows for sure if there will be any preseason games played this season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the NFL went ahead and released the preseason schedule anyway, and it's a schedule that should excite you, because it means that football is (hopefully) coming back!

Of the 65 games on the preseason schedule this year, the NFL has decided to put eight of them in prime time, and CBS will be airing two big ones. The first CBS game will come on Aug. 22 in what could be Tom Brady's debut with the Buccaneers. In that Saturday game, which will come in Week 2 of the preseason, the Bucs will host the Jaguars at 8 p.m. ET. Since most teams keep their starters on the bench during the first week of the preseason, there's a good chance that Jaguars game will mark Brady's first time on the field in Tampa.

The other preseason game on CBS will feature the first overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft, Joe Burrow. Burrow and the Bengals will be traveling to Atlanta for a game that will kick off at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, Aug. 28.

The first game of the NFL preseason will be played on Aug. 6 with the Cowboys and Steelers duking it out in the Hall of Fame Game, which will be played in Canton, Ohio. The HOF Game won't be the only time we see the Steelers in a prime time preseason game this year. The team will also be playing under the lights on national television when they host the Saints in Week 2 (Aug. 23 on Fox).

As for the Saints, they'll get to open the Rams' new stadium in L.A. during Week 1 of the preseason. The Chargers will get to play their first game at SoFi Stadium the following week when they play the Rams.

Speaking of new stadiums, the NFL is giving the construction crews in Las Vegas some extra time to finish Allegiant Stadium. The Raiders won't be hosting a preseason game in Week 1 or Week 2 this year, which means the crews will have until the end of August to get everything into place (the earliest the Raiders would play their first home preseason game is Aug. 27).

Here's a look at the entire preseason schedule for 2020.
