If you were picking an actress to make an awkward, innocent transition from the midwest to New York City, you'd pick Ellie Kemper. Which is exactly what Tina Fey did with the new Netflix comedy "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," a delightfully entertaining show currently available for streaming.
This fits with Kemper's real personality too, as she told "Conan" last week that she moved from St. Louis to New York as a teenager. This prompted her to yell "Go Rams!" because she likes the football team, even if she's not sure they still play there.
"Go Rams! All of the time," Kemper said. "I think they're still in St. Louis.
This is particularly amusing since the Rams are probably notgoing to be in St. Louis for that much longer (if you were a betting person you wouldn't want to bet on them staying) and because we found out about it via the official team site.
