One of the biggest topics -- likely the single biggest topic, if we're being honest -- at this week's NFL owners meetings in Houston is relocation, specifically the attempts by the San Diego Chargers, Oakland Raiders, and St. Louis Rams to move to Los Angeles.

All three teams have filed relocation papers for a potential move, and last week all were presented with certification papers to be signed or else they would not be allowed to have their applications heard at this week's owners meetings (which officially take place Tuesday and Wednesday). As CBS Sports NFL Insider Jason La Canfora reported last week, there will also be a meeting of the relocation committee on Monday evening, with a recommendation expected after that.

Ahead of all these meetings, Chargers owner Dean Spanos arrived in Houston. He was asked by reporters upon arrival if he had anything to say to the people of San Diego before the team's relocation bid was discussed. "I think I've said everything I have to say," Spanos responded.

Spanos was also asked if the team still plans to go ahead with its co-sponsored proposal for an L.A. move along with the Oakland Raiders and Spanos responded that was indeed the case, but that he'd go along with whatever the other owners deided.

Here's video of that encounter courtesy of Money 1090 AM in San Diego.

First of all, sweet shades, Dean.

Second, "I think I've said everything I have to say"? Man, that's a low blow. Third, you kind of have to abide by whatever the other owners decide, because that's in the rules (I assume). But it's good to know you plan on following them. Thanks for the info.
